We build one platform for one school: timetables, grades, attendance, fees and parents in one place. It runs on your own server, it holds only your data, and it changes whenever you ask. You own it. We look after it.
We read what school owners, bursars, teachers and parents say about their tools, in Morocco and abroad. The same six problems come back every term.
Instalments, sibling discounts, cash and transfers in an Excel file, then calls every month. Fees are the first source of conflict between schools and families.
Automatic WhatsApp and SMS reminders, receipts, and a live view of unpaid fees by class.Massar is mandatory, but it is not a school management tool. So every private school runs a second system and copies grades across at the end of each term.
Enter grades once with your own rules, then export them in the format you need.Announcements, absences and rumours all mixed in class groups. Parents use them because the school’s own channel doesn’t reach them.
One official parent space: absences, grades, receipts and announcements, in Arabic or French.Enrolment files, attendance certificates and transcripts prepared by hand, with a queue at the office at every start of term.
Requests online, documents generated in a click, every file in one record.Under law 09-08, sending personal data abroad generally needs CNDP authorisation, yet most school apps don’t say where your data lives.
Your platform, on your server, under your own CNDP declaration. The bill grows with every pupil you enrol, the roadmap is shared with hundreds of schools, and leaving means losing your history.
Built once for you. If we ever part ways, you keep the code, the server and the data.Sources: fee disputes and the 2023 model parent–school contract (Médias24, La Vérité); Massar at term end (Hespress); parent WhatsApp groups (UFAPEC); transfers abroad under law 09-08 (CMS).
About one million pupils study in private schools, and private higher education grew to 91,082 students in 213 institutions in 2024-25. They all live with Massar, report cards in French and Arabic, law 09-08, and fees paid in instalments.

In December 2024 one breach at a shared school-software vendor exposed records of tens of millions of students and teachers across thousands of schools. Saudi Arabia’s data law now limits transfers abroad, and in the Gulf fees remain parents’ first complaint.

Built to orderReady-made school apps are fast and cheap to start, and for some schools that is the right choice. Here is what changes when the platform is yours.
| Rented school app | Your KIO platform | |
|---|---|---|
| Who it is built for | Every school on the vendor’s list | Your school only, around how you already work |
| Where the data lives | The vendor’s servers, often unnamed | Your server, under your CNDP declaration |
| Cost over time | A fee per student or per month, for ever | Built once, then a fixed fee for care and updates |
| New features | When the vendor’s roadmap says so | When you ask: we build, test and ship it |
| If a shared vendor is breached | Every school on it is exposed | Your platform stands alone |
| If you leave | An export, if you are lucky | You keep the code, the server and the data |

Your classes, your fee plans, your grading rules, your paperwork. You see the plan before you pay.
Your name, your colours, your languages. Start with the modules that hurt most.
Your hosting, your domain, your data. We don’t keep a copy, and access stays under your control.
Security updates, backups and uptime checks, so a broken morning never reaches your parents.
A new campus, a new module, an automation: tell us, and we add it.

No. We build a platform for your school only and install it on your own server. You pay for the build, then a fixed fee for maintenance, updates and monitoring. There is no fee per student.
No. Massar stays mandatory. Your platform runs alongside it: you enter grades once with your own rules, and we can build an export in the format you need, so nobody types the same marks twice.
On your server, under your school’s name. We don’t keep a copy of your data. When we need access for maintenance, you grant it and you can withdraw it.
The platform is built for it: data stays on your server in the country you choose, access is by role, and every sensitive action is logged. The CNDP declaration is filed in your school’s name, and we prepare the technical part with you.
It depends on the modules. Many schools start with fees and the parent space, then add grades and timetables. We give you a dated plan before you sign.
Yes. Online payment works through your bank’s payment gateway, and reminders go out by WhatsApp, SMS or email before and after each due date.
Yes. We import your student lists, fee plans and history from Excel or from your current tool, and check them with you before launch.
Yes. Modules, credits, sessions, internships and documents can follow your institute’s rules. The demo itself is set up as a higher-education campus.
You keep everything: the code, the server and the data. Another developer can take over, and we hand over the documentation.
Yes, any time. Small changes are part of the maintenance. Larger modules get a clear quote before we build them.
