To use ChatGPT effectively for your business, give it five things in every request: who it should act as, the context of your business, the exact task, the format you want back, and one example of the result you like. Use it for drafting, rewriting, translating and summarising, never paste your clients’ personal data into it, and always check facts and numbers before you publish. For a Moroccan business, the biggest wins are fast replies in French, Arabic and Darija, social media content, and the paperwork nobody enjoys writing.
This guide is written by Kolchi In One (KIO), a digital agency in Casablanca that builds AI agents, CRMs and websites. We use ChatGPT and similar tools every day, and we see the same mistakes in almost every business that tries it alone.
Why everyone in Morocco is searching for ChatGPT right now
According to Google Trends, interest in “ChatGPT” in Morocco reached its highest level of the last 90 days in October 2026, almost double its level in July. Among the fastest-rising related searches is “how to use ChatGPT effectively”, and in French, people are looking for free artificial intelligence that works in their language. In other words, most people already have ChatGPT. What they are missing is a method.
The 5-part prompt: the method that changes everything
A short question gets a generic answer. A complete request gets a usable one. Build every important request with these five parts:
- Role: who ChatGPT should be. “You are the customer service manager of a beauty salon in Rabat.”
- Context: what it must know. Your service, your clients, your tone, your city, your opening hours.
- Task: one clear job. “Write a reply to this client who is asking about a price for a bridal package.”
- Format: how you want the answer. “Three short versions, under 60 words each, in French, friendly but professional.”
- Example: paste one message you wrote before and liked. ChatGPT copies a style much better than it follows a description of one.
Here is a complete example you can adapt:
You are the community manager of a family restaurant in Casablanca that serves Moroccan dishes and grills. Our clients are families and office workers, we deliver at lunch, and our tone is warm and simple. Write 5 Instagram captions for a reel showing our Friday couscous. Each caption under 30 words, one in Darija written in Latin letters, two in French, two in English, each ending with a question to make people comment. Here is a caption we liked before: “Le vendredi a un goût de maison. Vous le préférez avec ou sans tfaya ?”
8 real uses for a Moroccan business
1. Answering clients faster in their language
Paste a client’s question (without their name or number) and ask for a short, polite reply in French, Arabic or Darija. Keep a document with the replies you approve, so your team answers the same way every time.
2. Social media posts and reel scripts
Ask for 10 post ideas for the month, then for a 20-second reel script with the first sentence written to stop the scroll. Our own case study shows why this matters: for one Casablanca restaurant, reels brought almost all the reach. Read it in How a Casablanca Restaurant Went From 195 Followers to 3.37 Million Views.
3. Product and service descriptions
Give the facts (materials, sizes, what is included) and ask for a description for your website and a shorter one for Instagram. Facts in, style out: never let it invent features.
4. Translating between French, Arabic and English
Ask it to translate and adapt, not translate word for word. “Adapt this French text for Moroccan readers in Modern Standard Arabic, keep it simple.”
5. Summarising long documents
Supplier conditions, a tender, a long email thread: ask for a summary in 5 points, then “what should I check or negotiate?”
6. Excel and Google Sheets formulas
Describe your columns and what you want to calculate. It writes the formula and explains it. Test it on a copy of your file first.
7. Job ads and interview questions
Describe the role, the city and the real daily tasks. Ask for a job ad and 8 interview questions that test those tasks, not general personality.
8. Preparing a meeting or a sales call
Ask “what objections will a restaurant owner in Marrakech have about a new booking system, and how do I answer each one honestly?” You walk in prepared.
The mistakes that waste the most time
- Pasting personal data. Names, phone numbers, ID numbers and client files do not belong in a public chatbot. In Morocco, personal data is protected by Law 09-08, supervised by the CNDP. Remove names and numbers before you paste.
- Trusting numbers and facts. ChatGPT can state a wrong figure with full confidence. Check prices, dates, laws and statistics yourself.
- Publishing the first answer. The first draft is generic. Ask for “shorter”, “more Moroccan”, “less formal” and add your own details.
- One endless conversation. Start a new chat for each new task. Long chats mix old instructions with new ones.
- Asking it what it cannot know. It does not know your stock, your prices of today or your clients’ history unless you give them.
Free or paid version?
The free version is enough to learn the method and to write daily content. A paid plan becomes useful when you use it every day, need longer documents or files, or want more advanced models. Start free, use it for two weeks with the 5-part prompt, and decide from real use.
Where ChatGPT stops, and what comes next
ChatGPT is an assistant you talk to. It does not answer your WhatsApp at 2 a.m., it does not know which client asked for a quote last week, and it cannot book an appointment in your calendar. When your problem is “we lose messages and leads”, you need a different tool: an AI agent connected to your WhatsApp, Instagram and CRM, trained on your real prices and rules, with a human taking over when needed.

Frequently asked questions
Does ChatGPT understand Darija?
It understands a lot of Darija, especially when written in Latin letters, and it can reply in Darija. The quality varies, so always read the answer before sending it to a client.
Is ChatGPT safe for business data?
Treat it like a public service. Do not paste client personal data, passwords or confidential contracts. Remove names and numbers first, and check your plan’s data settings.
Can ChatGPT replace my community manager?
No. It speeds up writing and ideas, but someone still needs to know your clients, film the content, answer comments and decide what fits your brand.
What is the difference between ChatGPT and an AI agent?
ChatGPT answers you. An AI agent answers your clients, on your channels, using your real information, and passes the conversation to your team when needed.
